Question
Hi Alan

I have found a round, orange tablet with 75 on one side and 4 scores on only one half of the other side. Could you tell me what it is and I live in Australia.

Thanks

Answer
Dear Alan

It is almost certainly clopidrogel (Plavix) and drug similar to aspirin on the blood. It prevents platelets sticking together which slows down blood clotting and is usually used in persons prone to strokes or heart attacks due to blood clots. It is never a drug of abuse.

Regards

Alan Galbraith
