Question i am in a suboxone program that requires randon urine tests. i also take klonopin for anxiety/panic disorder. i recently injured my back and was given flexeril and motrin. i recently took a urine test which came back positive for the presence of serax. i have never taken this drug. could this be a false positive?
Answer Hi Kris,
I note you have taken klonopin which is clonazepam, and you have tested positve for serax which is oxazepam. Both drugs are related chemically and pharmacologically, this could be the reason why you have tested positive. If you tell them about your use of klonopin probably they will check out for this drug and clear you.
