Question QUESTION: dear sir,
my anxiety is not controlling from mitrazapine and etizolam, when i was in india last month one psychitirist suggeted me to take sertreline tablet he said it will only create delay in ejaculation but it nither increase libodo or nor decrease libido and it will be good for your case , sir what is your suggestion on it , doctor said delay ejaculation is even temporary as early as you will leave this medicine you will be back to normal.
suggest me the best on it i am fedup with anxiety and my mind is always upset it is not elevating.
ANSWER: Dear Majid
Yes, sertraline does usually delay ejaculation without normally interfering with libido (although it can on occasion). It may be worth a try. However, I think in view of your extreme anxiety and reading between the lines of all your communications you are going to need some other form of support rather than chopping and changing drugs continuously. Try to find a psychiatrist who uses psychotherapy as tool. There are various types of this and a competent psychotherapist may be able to suggest a suitable programme for you which will help just as much as chemicals or maybe even better.

Alan Galbraith
PS You must give the mirtazepine more time to kick in - usually 2-3 weeks but it can take up to 6 weeks.

QUESTION: dear sir
as per your advice i am still continue with mirtaz and etizolam tablet i am only worry abt cholestrol and HBP , MORE OVER MY WEIGHT IS ALSO PUTTING ON LITTLE BIT , when ever i think abt chelestrol i get anxiry otherwise i am getting relief from anxiety.
thanx
Answer Dear Majid
Without knowing your weight and height, your BP and cholesterol (HDL and LDL) levels it is difficult to suggest anything here at the moment but you should not be worried about the latter two as they are usually very easy to control. Weight is a bit more difficult and if needed a nutritionist may need to be onsulted - there will be plenty in Doha. And I still think sme psychotherapy is needed.
