Question had tooth removed 5/27/09,had stitches.they gave me hydrocodone/acetam/5mg/5oomgfor vicodine.every4hrs.still feel discomfort?can I up the dose by cutting pills.also im taking,amoxicillin500mgcap/sandoz/for,amoxil
Answer Hi Alex,
I do not recommend increasing the dose beyond what the doctor recommended. You may use ibprofen as a pain killer if you can tolerate it. Ibuprofen is an excellent analgesic for dental pain.
