Question I have taken both before but have recently become fluid bonded with my partner and I have been told that taking certain anti-biotic’s can make birth control less effective. I want to be sure that I do not get pregnant! Any information you can provide would be very helpful!
Answer Hi Brandy,
There is a small risk that
azithromycin will reduce the effectiveness of the oral contraceptive. I recommend you use an additional method of cotraception while taking this medication.
