Question QUESTION: I found a script that has exp 9/01. Filled 7/00. would it be safe to use temporary for shoulder/bicep muscle pain. Also knee pain.
ANSWER: Hi Ellen,
I assume the scrip expired in 2001, in which case I would not advice you to take it. It woudl have deteriorated very significantly over the time past expiry.

QUESTION: Just found another scrip exprd.7/08 for cefelexine,antibiotic.generic for keflex
Answer Hi Ellen,
May be. It is difficult to tell, the drug has expired 11 months ago and it is not a stable drug. Some drugs are more stable than others and deteriorate very slowly but not cephalexin. It gets damaged even if it is not stored properly. I would not rely on it.
