QUESTION: hello sir
im 25 year old boy and my sleep cycle has totally been reversed.i dont feel asleep at night and feel sleepy in the morning.this has been in continuation for almost 6 yrs.it had an adverse impact on my academics
i've just began to consume eszopiclone tablets 2mg.how long should i continue using pills?what are the side effects?what would you suggest me to do in order to sleep at night on my own?

ANSWER: Hi Chaitanya,
I do hope that the drug is prescribed for you. In any case it will take about 1 or 2 weeks before you see .a complete reversal of your sleep pattern and you may need to take it for around 2 months.
The main side effect is sedation.

QUESTION: my doctor prescribed it for a week. later he refused.now im purchasin it without prescription.can i continue it for 2 more weeks?also i've heard when these drugs r stopped, insomnia comes back triple the amount.what precautions shd i take to avoid it?

It is true that when yo stop it then you will have some amount of insomnia. The best way to tackle it is to taper the dose, first half tablet then quarter tablet. Also do that on a weekend so that loss of slee does not disturb your work .
