Asacol does not work in all cases, and a large number of patients are quite resistant to the effects of this drug. I have a lot of patients who do not respond to this drug and I often have to respond to quite unconventional therapies. I would recommend you go through the site www.asacol.com to understand the drug and its limitations. I would recommend you talk to your doctor about alternative medications.
