Question I have been taking 30mg prevacid soluble pill and just realized that it was supposed to be taken disolved in the mouth and I had been just swallowing it. Is that safe to swallow it before disolving? It works much better for some reason when I swallow it I can go 6 days without getting heartburn and when I let it disolve in my mouth the other day I had heartburn the next day....
Answer If it works better for you to swallow the Prevacid solutabs it will be OK to use them that way. Either way the medication will dissolve very quickly either in your mouth or your stomach and be absorbed into the blood stream to take effect. It is safe either way.
