Question I was prescribed propranolol for tremors (and havnt started it yet) and was prescribed amoxicillin for my throat. Also I was taking ondansetron every other day when i feel nauseous because ive been really sick. (the nausea and the throat thing came on the two days after the appointment i got the scrip for the propanolol) after reading the papers it came with im not sure if its ok to mix them. Should i wait till after I finish the antibiotic before i start taking my propranolol? And what about the anti nausea med? I forgot to tell the dr. about the propranolol.
Answer Hi Karen,
I really do not think that there is any interaction likely between amoxicillin, propranolol and ondansetron. You can take these medications without any worry. Dont worry about adverse effects rght now, even if they occur we have methods to manage them.
