Question
What is the difference in aspirin 75 mg and 150 mg. I am obese( 105 kg ), my family dr says I need to take aspirin 150 mg whereas the other dr sayd aspiring 75 mg is enough. I have BP and DM on medicine.

Answer
Hi Hemant,
For prevention of caridac events (the reason for which you have been adviced the drug) 75 mg is enough. There is no difference between this and the 150 mg except for the higher content of aspirin, which is not necessary at all.
All the best
