Question
with the bad press about ambien and lunesta causing memory loss and cognitive decline, think gabitril is safer to take for sleep

Answer
Hi Roger,
The manufacturer does not recommend it be used for other than seizure control. However it is used widely off label for sleep and from reports I get it has been used safely that way.
Thank you for using Allexperts
