eric,my psychiatrist has me on combo  of 10mg sonata and 10mg ambien.I know you cant compare medicines but woudnt a combo of 1mg klonopin and 10mg ambien be a better mix.not questioning my scrink but ambien and sonata a duplication.i read klonopin good for sleep

Hi Howard.
I can not second guess why your doctor has prescribed this combination. It does seem to be duplication. Klonopin (clonazeoam)  which is a benzodiazepine is associated with dependency, urinary retention, and impairment of cognition especially in the elderly.
