Pharmacy/beta blocker weight gain

hi eric, im taking lisinopril, amlodipine and triamterene for hypertension. since then I have been having trouble losing weight and I feel tired all the time. what is causing this problem and what I can I do to get the weight off. in addition im also going through a weight loss plateau.

Hi Chrstopher,
Antihypertensive medications can make you feel tired. Other reasons could be anemia and low thyroid function. Have your thyroid and anemia profile checked.
It is a simple blood test.
Thank you for using Allexperts.
