Question
Can a hypertensive person on atenolol amlodepine olmesartan/telmisartan also take prazosin together simultaneously.  Is there any drug interaction or whether there is ant restriction on concomitant administration of the indicated drugs

Answer
Sir,
There is an interaction between prazosin and atenolol or amlodipine, but this is only expected since both drugs cause a fall in blood pressure. When you are taking these drugs in combination the BP could suddenly fall leading to fainting spells. This should be borne in mind.
