Question
If I have dranken before an antibuse shot, then would I get sick?  I haven't taken the drug, yet and I am not sure of all of its side effects.

Answer
It should be at least 12 to 24 hours since you have consumed any alcohol before you take your first dose of Antabuse.  If there has not been enough time for your body to metabolize the alcohol you have consumed the Antabuse will make you violently ill.  The reaction includes nausea, vomiting, hot flashes, and palpitations.  I would recommend making sure you have waited a sufficient amount of time before starting treatment.

Thanks
