Sir,
Is Benzthiazide 25 and hydrochlorothiazide 25 ( HCTZ ) alike and similar ?
Hi Harsvadan,
In my opinion the two drugs are very similar in pharmacological action. There are differences in pharmacokinetics, absorption, metabolism and excretion, but in case of dynamic action there are no differences. So these drugs can be used nterchangeably.
