Question
If someone is taking Coumadin can they also take Mirapex, Cipralex, amitriptyline and Citracal.
Please let me know.

Answer
Hi Elaine,
cipralex may potentiate the activity of Coumadin. This is corrcted by adjusting the Coumadin dose based on INR results. Make sure you have your blood tests done regularly.
The combination you describe can also cause increased drowsiness. Avoid operating dangerous machinery including operarting a car, until you evaluate your response to the combination.
Thank you for using Allexperts
