Question Are there any interactions with all these medicines taken together.
Protonix,Flexeril,Voltaren,Ultram,Actonel>
Also is there any interaction with taking over the counter Benadryle with all these above.
Thanks
Answer Protonix is a proton pump inhibitor -- for stomach problems.
Flexeril is a muscle relaxant.
Voltaren is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent (for arthritis or other inflammatory problems.
Ultram is a painkiller.
Actonel is for treatment and prevention of osteoporosis in post-menopausal women.
All of these drugs can cause stomach problems.
It's possible that if one is prone to seizures, the Flexeril and Ultram taken together could increase the incidence of seizures.
Otherwise, there really aren't a lot of interactions between these drugs.
You can take diphenhydramine (Benadryl) with these drugs, but it is always advisable to discuss ALL your medications with your doctor, even over-the-counter drugs and vitamins.
