Question Hello Dr. Kompare,
My name is Nicole and I recently found 2 pills in my brothers pants. They have the letters TE 31 on the side and are a brownish color. They are oval shape as well. Please help me to identify them. Thank you.
Answer Hi Nicole,
This one was harder than I thought! The imprint code is actually just "TE." What looks like a "31" is actually an upside down "TE" which made it a little difficult to id.
Anyhow, it appears the drug in question is Trileptal. This drug is used for a variety of conditions such as seizures, pain, and even psychiatric issues. You can view the pill online at the following site: http://www.hfm.staywellsolutionsonline.com.
Just scroll down to the letters "TE" in the pill ID section and click on "image" for trileptal.
