I have personal experience dealing with terminally ill persons and their needs, as well as their families` needs. I graduated in 1984 from Pharmacy School and have been a Licensed Pharmacist since then. I have 18 years retail pharmacy experience. Question What is the best medication, other than indapamide and Hyzaar?
Answer There is no one "best medicine" for high blood pressure or fluid retention. Patients and their reactions to medications vary so greatly there is no way to predict without a thorough and complete history and physical what medication is appropriate to even attempt to use in a patient. If there was just one "best medicine" and it worked for every person a doctors job would be much easier. I would recommend that you discuss with your doctor the medications you are taking and his/her reasoning behing prescribing them if you are wondering if they are what is best for you.
