How long has Advil been available for use and what are the side effects?n

Hi,Philip!
I don't really know how long ibuprofen has been on the market. I would guess since the 1980's over the counter.
Advil(ibuprofen) can cause gastrointestinal upset, GI bleed,fluid retention-the most common side-effects. Hope this helps, Mary
