Question my husband was diagnosed borderline hypothyroid and the
doctor put him on Levothroxin 100MCG, what would that be in MG's or does it work that way? He has been taking this medication for almost a year now and has gone from being borderline hypothyroid to borderline hyperthyroid.
Answer Hi Connie,
100 mcg = 0.1 mg. Your husband needs a lower dose if he went from hypothyroid to hyperthyroid on this dose. The medication is available in doses as low as 25 mcg and up.
Thank you for using Allexperts
Sincerely,
Eric Brandt, B.Sc. Pharm
