Pharmacy - PROPOXY N/APAP (Darvocet)

Question
I am scheduled for surgery on August 31st (right knee arthroscopic and lateral release).  The hospital said not to take anything with aspirin in it one week prior to surgery.  She didn't say anything about the Darvocet - I take one table at bedtime to help with the pain so I can sleep.  I haven't been taking it (and haven't been sleeping) - am I able to take this up to the date of my surgery?

Thank you for your assistance.

Answer
Darvocet does not contain aspirin it would not be a problem if you continue to take it until your surgery.  Do make sure that you tell the staff at the hospital before your surgery of all your medications and when you last took them the day of your surgery.

Thanks
