Question I want to know if you are a pharmacologist are you qualified to open your own pharmacy?
Answer Dear Deangelo
In some circumstances yes. Pharmacy involves the preparation of drugs, knowing the laws of selling drugs etc. A pharmacist studies pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmaceutics and pharmacology plus lots of other related subjects. They can specialise in pharmacology at a postgraduate level but still be pharmacists and pharmacologists. Pharmacology just involves the study of drugs eg how they work, what are they used for, their problems and in general pharmacologists know a lot more about this than pharmacists. However to own a pharmacy you must have a degree in pharmacy - pharmacology alone will not do.
