Sir, How long after completing a two week cycle of Primaquin is it safe to become pregnant or attempt to become pregnant?
Hi Angela,
Primaquine is virtually undetected in the body after 24 hours of administration. Based on this information I would say you do not need to wait long after you are finished the drug. I would make sure though that you are clean of malaria before attempting to get pregnant if you were treated for active disease.
