Question
Hi -
I am doing a research report on restricted pharmacuetical products and was wondering if most pharmacies stock Schedule 2 products.  I am specifically interested in products like Actiq.  I hear that Schedule 2 products are required to be in a safe.

Answer
Hi Diti,
Drug scheduling is different in different countries. Here in Canada pharmacies would stock a variety of medications from all drug schedules depending on expected and actual customer base needs. Fentanyl is designated schedule 1A in the province of British Columbia and is stocked in most pharmacies.
Thank you for using Allexperts
