CAN YOU TELL ME IF YOU CAN LOOSE A LOT OF WEIGHT BY TAKING ADIPEX WITH ALSO TAKING LASIX BOTH ARE PRESCRIBED TO ME

Hi Barbara,
asix is a diuretic. Taking it will deplete water from your body, not fat. It can also upset the balance of sodium and potassium in the body. Do not use Lasix for weight loss.
Adipex can curb the appetite and will help you lose weight while you are on the medication. Unfortunately it does not teach you better eating habits. I have seen people on similar drugs lose weight but once the drug was stopped, the weight came back on.
