Question does this drug contain codeine? I am allergic to codeine.
Answer No, this drug does not contain codeine. Its primary ingredient is amoxicillin, a penicillin antibiotic. There should be no cross allergy between the 2 drugs. This does not mean you could not develop an allergic reaction to this drug however. Also the most common side effects of this drug are nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. To minimize these side effects I would recommend taking each dose with food.
