Question
When I take antibuse my breath is horrible, as if I digested large quantities of garlic powder, so all the alcohol deterrant drugs have this side effect?

This effect of Antabuse is common and normally it will go in time, usually in two weeks or less. There are other drugs that can be prescribed instead of Antabuse but I would stick with it and see how the taste and brath improves. If this adverse effect continues after 2 weeks ask your prescriber if he could change drugs.
