I have personal experience dealing with terminally ill persons and their needs, as well as their families` needs. Question I AM 62 AND TAKING ZOLOFT FOR ANXIETY THE DR. PUT ME ON CKARITAN D AND I AM EXPERIENCING DEPRESSION,IRRITABILITY,AND TROUBLE SLEEPING HOW LONG WILL IT STAY IN MY SYSTEM?
Answer There are 2 forms of Claritin D. One is a 12 hour form, the other is a 24 hour form. How long you will continue to experience side effects will depend on which Claritin D product you purchased. Chances are it is the "D" or decongestant that is causing you irritability, trouble sleeping, and mood changes. Once the appropriate amount of time, either 12 or 24 hours has elapsed you should begin to feel more like your normal self. If you do not I would contact your doctor as soon as possible.
