what is decilone forte? is it really a medication for sore eyes?

Answer
Decilone Forte is dexamethasone oral tablets available in various strengths outside the United States. It is not a brand name product that is commercially available in the US, however dexamethasone tablets and other dosage forms are available in the US. Whether dexamethasone would be prescribed for sore eyes would depend on the underlying diagnosis of what is causing the eye pain. If this has been prescribed for you and you have eye pain and don't understand your treatment I would recommend that you ask your doctor for a complete explanation for why this was prescribed and the treatment goals. There are a great and widely varied reasons why a person could be prescribed dexamethasone and I could not begin to speculate as to why without all the facts.
