Question Can you use hydrogen peroxide during pregnancy? I just want to clean out a small cut. I can't find information about it.
Thanks.
Answer Hi Sue,
Hydrogen peroxide is a very unstable compound and as soon as you use it over a wound or cut, it breaks up into oxygen and water. The peroxide is not absorbed systemically and it poses no risk to other parts of the body. It is completely safe to use during pregnancy too.
