Question QUESTION: I take allegra 180 and I dont know if it is safe to take with hydroxycut. Can you help? thanks!
ANSWER: There are no known drug interactions between Allegra 180mg and Hydroxycut. You should be aware, however, that Hydroxycut is an herbal supplement which is not regulated in any way by the FDA or any other governmental authority so they are free to make their product as they see fit, make almost any claims they choose, and not back them up with any documented facts. In many cases of herbal supplements for weight loss, if you follow the diet and exercise plan they provide and don't take the product you would achieve the same results as those seen when you spend a lot of money on the product. While Hydroxycut should not be harmful to most people since they were required to remove ephedra from their product line several years ago I would recommend talking to your doctor about an appropriate diet and exercise plan for weight loss instead of using Hydroxycut.
Thanks

QUESTION: I know it's probobly not the greatest thing to be taking, but I quit drinking soda and coffee, but i still need the caffeine... taking the hydroxcut gives me alot of energy. plus I am trying to lose weight. I am trying to exersize on a daily basis, but whenever I would get tierd I would drink a coffee or soda... Is there anything else you would recomend to replace it with.
Answer Alli has recently been approved for over the counter sales. Alli is a lower strength product with the same active ingredient as prescription Xenical. What this drug does is stops the absorption of dietary fat. In essence it forces you to eat a low fat diet. If you do not eat a low fat diet you will have side effects including diarrhea, bloating and gas, with possible oily leakage, cramping, and loss of bowel control. If you have difficulties following a diet on your own, this is one way to encourage your self to follow a diet that is low in fat and should be lower in calories. For any other suggestions I would talk to your doctor to see what he/she recommends for you.
