Question I have a pacemaker for neurocardiogenic syncope. I also have low blood pressure, this seems to be making my bp lower.Should I continue taking this drug?
Answer Hi,Gayle,
Inderal LA will lower your blood pressure, but you need to let your doctor know about this. I would continue to take this until you hear from your doctor. Stopping a beta-blocker such as Inderal La is dangerous, and can precipitate a heart attack. He may lower the dose or switch you to a different medication altogether. He/she is the best person to decide the course of action since your medical history is known to him/her. Hope this helps, Mary
