Question I am taking 40mg Lipitor once a day for my high cholesterol.
I have a long family history of Rheumatory arthritis & my last blood test showed a factor of 306.
A friend recommended "Joint Soother" which contains 1500 mg of "Glucosamine, Chondroitin, MSM" for the pain in my hands, feet, back. It is sold in Vitamin Stores.
Can I take "Joint Soother" with "Lipitor"? Or is it a bad idea to mix the 2?
Answer Hi Di,
I was not able to find an interaction between the suplement you want to take and Lipitor. You can use it but as with all other health-foos store supplemets exercise caution. There is not always adequate data or adequate studies to evaluate their use with conventional medications.
Thank you for using Allexperts
