It is a white, oblong tablet with HAW 251 printed on it. please tell me what it is and what it does(I think it is a pain pill).

The tablet is a cough remedy from Hawthorn Pharmaceuticals. The compostion and use is given below:
Loosens Mucus
Cost-effective
Sugar-free
Antihistamine-free
Decongestant-free
Active ingredient: (in each immediate-release tablet) Purpose:
Guaifenesin 400 mg . . . . . . . . . . Expectorant
Uses: helps loosen phlegm (mucus) and thin bronchial secretions to rid the bronchial passageways of bothersome mucus and make coughs more productive.
