Question What is the difference between oxycodone sr and er? Thankyou
Answer Hi,Christine,
SR means sustained release
ER means extended release-basically,they both mean that it is a timed-release,or long-acting formulation of the drug. Different manufacturers use different terminology to denote this. Other terms used are LA (long acting), XR,SA (sustained-action), XL,etc.
Hope this helps, Mary
