Question
Can paresthesia include abnormal temperature sensations?  When I touch anything warmer than room temp with my hands, ie; water, food, it feels like I'm sticking my hand in a fire.... same with my feet....  it's almost unbearable....  I'm taking 60 mg of Cymbalta in the AM and 50 mg Vistaril PRN QID   It's SO horrible and I hate it.....

Answer
Hi Amanda,
Teoretically yes. Temperature sensation is one of the many sensations that can go wrong, but I hasve not read it as a side effect of any drug. I think you should be evaluated by a neurologist who can opine about the cause and the treatment if any. Frankly that part is beyond my knowledge.
