Pharmacy/side effects

Question
Can you tell me if any research has ever been done to determine which are the most common side effects of prescription drugs (such as nausea, diarrhea, drowsiness, dizziness, etc.). Thank you very much. Al Brown

Answer
Hi Al,
I have never seen such a study. There are tens of thousands of medications of varying routes of administration. You can assume pretty much than any medication you swallow can potentially cause some gastric effect. After all it is a foreign chemical to body. No one suffers from a defficiency of whatever medication they consume.
Injectable medications can cause irritation at injection site.
Ophthalmics can cause eye irritation etc.
Thank you for using Allexperts
Sincerely,
