Question
I take  one Apo Zopiclone 7.5 MG every nite  before  bed.  I have a lot of family issues which  will not  be  resolved in the near  future.  Please   don't suggest that I reduce my stress levels, most of these issues are Way beyond me.  I would just like to know if this is a dangerous practice.  Thank You     connie

Answer
You want just the facts, you can find them at this web site:
http://www.medsafe.govt.nz/Profs/Datasheet/a/Apozopiclonetab.htm

Everything you wanted to know about Apo-zopiclone.

From your name I am assuming you are female.  You don't give any indication of age, although you sound fairly young.

As you will see from the drug information, treatment with this drug should be as short as possible and should not exceed four weeks including the period of tapering off.

It is similar to benzodiazepines (like Valium, Xanax) and therefore has some tendency to habituation (addiction potential).

You can read for yourself the precautions, side effects and contraindications.

You asked for no comments, but it's possible you should talk with your physician about whether you might be depressed, with anxiety as a manifestation of the depression.  If that is the case you need more than a sedative, you also need an antidepressant.

This is general information and not intended to take the place of your trusted physcian's advice.
