Question I took lexapro for about 16 days. I had such terrible side-effects that I was totally non-functional. My dr. wants me to spend a month weaning off these pills but they make me so sick that I can't take them for another month. I stopped them cold turkey 4 days ago. Will I have withdrawls? I only took 2 1/2 mgs for the first week and 5 mgs for the second week.....Thank you
Answer Hi Wanda,
Since you took the drug for such a short period of time, and such a low dose that I do not believe that withdrawal symptoms are going to be an issue.
Now that you have been off of the drug for 4 days, how do you feel?
Thank you for using Allexperts
Sincerely,
Eric Brandt, B.Sc. Pharm
