Question I have been to my gp after doing the barnes thyroid temp test having had low results all under 35.8 c and unless its showing in my blood there is nothing they can do about it.Is there somewhere else I can go to get help as I am also showing most of the symptoms listed.
Answer Hi Vicky,
Most physicians would not prescribe thyroid hormone therapy without having a low thyroid hormone evidence in a blood test. There are many conditions whose symptoms mimic low thyroid. A blood test give you differential diagnosis to rule out the thyroid as possible cause.
