Question
I have been taking my vk tablets for 5 days following a wisdom tooth infection, i have finished the course today (wed 24th) and was just wondering how long it would affect my pill? thanks x

Dear Lorraine

Penicillin V does not affect the OC pill very much if at all, it is the broad spectrum ones that can affect its action. However, to be on the safe side I would advise extra precautions until you start your new cycle of the OC pill. You should be OK then.
