Question sir I am mild diabetic patient and I take metformin 500 mg once only Also my BMI is 35 weight 100 kg..I take only one xenical-anti-obesity drug..120 mg after evening full meal..about 800 to 1000 cal...in morning and noon I take only breakfast tipe lunch..pl guide whether one capsual of metformin and one cap. of xenical is sufficiant? in india xenical is not available ..so docter do not know about xenical..age 45 weight 100kg-male..pl guide me if any mistake as docter can not help me in india ..

I too live in India and do not have experience with Xenical, however I can help you by going through the literature. I would certainly keep you on one cap of Xenical for at least 2 weeks before increasing it.
Secondly the dose of metformin should be titrated against the response. You should check the blood sugar and adjust dose of metformin accordingly. Take only 1 cap of xenicla for 2 weeks before increasing to 2 caps,that should be the cieling dose.
