I would like to stay with him till he completes his graduation.
I also have completed my engineering graduation and working in an MNC in India.
May i know the details how to get a good job in makati city.
I'm so much worried about the stay in philipines.
Please give me the general information about the country , filpinos and the employment rate in philipines.

Answer
Hello Revathi,

What a coincidence - I'm staying just behind the AIM in a service apartment in Makati City on my latest trip to this country. First of all why are you so worried about staying in the Philippines? I come here so often and I would love to settle down here - it's such a great place with such friendly people all of whom speak very good English and you never feel alone. Makati is like Manhattan with shopping malls and hotels and upscale apartments and the rest of the country is an island paradise with beautiful beaches and diving spots. So please don't have any misgivings about this country - the dangers (if you may call it that) that you hear about are way down south - just like our troubles are way up north in Kashmir.

Frankly I don't know how to go about finding a job in the Philippines but if you are an enginner and already working you should have little problems. You may have to find out and complete the formalities for a working visa, etc. Once you get here you can surf the internet for head-hunters and apply on their websites or go to their offices and submit your resumes. I'm pretty sure that you'll land up a job in no time. I 'googled' "recruitment agencies philippines" and came up with some results. You could also do likewise and see what you can find and then take it from there.

Hope this helps and have a great time in the Philippines. If you want some advice on travel in this country and having a good time, contact me again. I have been coming here every now and then for the past few years and have taken time off on weekends to go to some touristy and not-so-touristy spots. Actually that is why I registered as an expert - not to provide advice on working in the Philippines :-)). But I hope you find my tips useful.

Nilesh.
