Phobias - Alarm clock Phobia?
Expert: Jurriaan Plesman, Nutritional Psychologist - 11/4/2009
Question Hi I'm 14 years old and i recently noticed that i get a really big sense of dread and almost frightened by the noise of beeping. Especially alarm clocks. i heard one on the TV and it made me really scared. is there such a thing as alarm clock phobia? and what should i do about it? thanks so much!
Answer Hi Samantha,
A phobia is having an unreasonable fear of anything in the environment. Since this can be anything it is difficult to name it.
But a phobia is an unreasonable fear that can be caused by a underlying biochemical abnormality, that in most cases can be treated by nutritional means.
Please read:
Beating Anxiety and Phobias at:

and discuss with a Nutritional Doctor, Clinical Nutritionist or Nutritional Psychologist. Most people can overcome the problem by adopting the hypoglycemic diet (See our web site)
