QUESTION: okay, so is there a way to process the negatives without actually developing the pictures?
Answer One doesn't develop the pictures. The fils is getting developed in order for pictures appear on it. Once it is done one can print pictures form the developed film.
Development of the film is the step that can't be skipped.
