Photography - cropped images not really cropped?

Expert: Eric C. M. Basir - 11/7/2009

Question
I have cropped photos on my computer where I totally cropped them replacing/deleting the original but when I go on the myspace javascript uploader where it accesses my pictures on the computer to check the box for which ones I want to upload, it shows the original uncropped version... Does that mean a cropped file isn't really truly cropped?
Here's an example of what's happening http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g47/pacfanwwe1/pictureuploadnotcropped.jpg
this has really got me puzzled. Can you clarify how cropping really works?

Answer
Hmmm...I don't use photobucket to organize photos. It seems like you are still uploading old uncropped photo or you are not saving your cropped version as a different filename. Try saving as a different filename. Then direct Myspace to link to that one.
