I am going on a trip overseas and I would like to know what is a decent camera I can buy to take / capture memories. I like the use of digitals and find that my Cannon IXUS70 is not doing much at all. I would like to upgrade myself to eitehr Limux or Nikon, please recommend some suggestions. Many Thanks,

Hello TJ,

I am not familiar with the Cannon IXUS70 but I assume it is a "point and shoot". I would recommend a DSLR type camera for sure.

I am a big fan of Nikon personally however Cannon make a very good product as well.

The Nikon D40 or a Cannon Rebel XTi would be a good choice.
